Small-molecule mini-lecture videos posted

Videos of the mini-lectures from the first two small-molecule crystallography “Brown Bag” meetings have been posted on the X-ray Videos page. Please contact Jeff with questions about these videos and any suggestions for future topics.

January Crystallography Brown Bag – Wednesday 1/31 at noon

The January “brown bag” meeting will be Wednesday 1/31 from noon to 1 PM via Zoom.  The short lecture (10-15 minutes) topic will be “PLATON and PLATON/SQUEEZE”, covering the basics of accounting for disordered or partially absent solvent in small-molecule structures.  The lecture will be recorded; please email jwbacon@bu.edu for the Zoom link.

X-ray Software Updated

The Bruker software on the lab computers has been upgraded to APEX5 and PROTEUM5.  Please let Jeff know if you have any issues with these new versions.
