Videos of the mini-lectures from the first two small-molecule crystallography “Brown Bag” meetings have been posted on the X-ray Videos page. Please contact Jeff with questions about these videos and any suggestions for future topics.
The January “brown bag” meeting will be Wednesday 1/31 from noon to 1 PM via Zoom. The short lecture (10-15 minutes) topic will be “PLATON and PLATON/SQUEEZE”, covering the basics of accounting for disordered or partially absent solvent in small-molecule structures. The lecture will be recorded; please email jwbacon@bu.edu for the Zoom link.
The Bruker software on the lab computers has been upgraded to APEX5 and PROTEUM5. Please let Jeff know if you have any issues with these new versions.
