Dr. Lunze Receives the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award from ACPM
Congratulations to Karsten Lunze, MD, DrPH, MPH, FACPM (pictured far right), on receiving the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism in Medicine Award from the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM). This national award is given once yearly honoring outstanding achievements and contributions to humanism in public health and preventive medicine, and it was presented to Dr. Lunze at the ACPM Annual Meeting in Washington D.C. in February 2016. He was recognized for his global health and human rights research, his work co-founding and co-directing the nonprofit organization “Health in the Caucasus,” which is dedicated to humanitarian assistance for refugees, and his service as a maternal and child health advisor for several United Nations organizations.
