Introduction

There are a few different ways students can enroll in classes using MyBU Student. Any of the registration tools described below can be used when the assigned enrollment appointment is open. For more information on registration date and times, please refer to the Registrar website. Below are overviews of the methods available for enrollment:

  • Class Search allows for easy exploration of offered classes for a term. This page provides the most robust set of criteria to view and narrow down available classes. Enrollment for eligible classes can occur directly from a class appearing in the search results.
    • For enrollment, this option may be helpful for part time or graduate students who are registering for one or two classes. Or for students who are still reviewing their course options when the registration period opens.
  • Schedule Builder allows for the compilation of various schedule permutations to determine what options might be preferred for enrollment. Favorites can be saved. Enrollment can then occur directly from a compiled or favorited schedule.
    • For enrollment, this option may be helpful for undergraduate students registering for many classes and who need to review multiple calendar options to determine which is most preferential for their own schedule. Or for students who would like to save multiple schedules(e.g., primary and a backup) in a visual format to register from when their appointment time opens.
  • Shopping Cart is a space where desired classes can be saved and ready for the time enrollment opens. Enrollment can then occur directly from classes added to the cart.
    • For enrollment, this option may be helpful for students who would like to save desired courses ahead of the start of the enrollment period.
