Amanda’s research interests are varied but mainly focus on the psychological repercussions of sustained use of communication & dating applications and the commodification of the self via the same, and the convergence of self during video game play as a form of therapy. They also like to wax poetic about ‘80s horror, physical media, and their three cats.

She studies Media Science and Art History, with a passion for researching the intersection of visual culture, artistic expression, and media technologies; Eliza specializes in organic social media content production and strategy, focusing on visual content’s influence on consumer purchasing behavior via social media. She loves American modern art, vinyl records, and spends her free time reviewing movies, albums, and more popular media for her blog.
