We’re glad you’re interested in getting involved with the Communication Research Center (CRC) here at 704 Commonwealth Ave.
If you’re passionate about research surrounding advanced media technology, communication theories, audio-production, or if you’re simply looking to get involved, you’re on the right page.
Keep an eye out for paid assistantship roles, these are typically posted prior to the start of the semester. However, we encourage you to fill out the Interest Form, even if there are no current roles available, and we will contact you when any available assistantships or research opportunities arise.

We are no longer accepting applications for the Technical, Research & SONA, Multimedia, and Podcast Assistantship roles.
NOTE: We always keep your resumes and form submissions on file, so if an opportunity arises (e.g. a faculty member is seeking a research assistant, a focus group participant etc.) we’ll be in contact. So, don’t ever hesitate to send over your resume even if we’re not currently hiring; you’ll be the first students we reach out to if we are.

We are no longer accepting applications for the Technical, Research & SONA, and Multimedia Assistantship roles.
Prof. Charlotte Howell is looking for two Podcast Assistants for 5 hours/week. This role offers hands-on experience in podcast production and strategizing. You’ll be alternating between episode editing and in-studio production with your fellow podcast assistant. You’ll also liaison with the CRC each week to plan future guests and to brainstorm topics.
