Gallery: Men’s hockey split home-and-home series with New Hampshire

After a  4-1 loss at New Hampshire, the Boston University men’s ice hockey team was looking to bounce back on home ice, and did so with a 5-3 win at home. Sophomore forward Brandon Svoboda put the Terriers on the board first, but the Wildcats responded with an equalizer. In the early second period, sophomore defenseman Cole Hutson put the Terriers in the lead. The lead was later extended to 4-1 as freshman forward Jack Murtagh and sophomore forward Jack Harvey both found the back of the net. With 2 goals in the last five minutes of regulation, the Wildcats pulled their goaltender late for a chance to tie the game. The Terriers were able to get the puck out of their zone, and sophomore forward Cole Eiserman secured the three points with an empty netter.
