Gallery: Late Surge from women’s basketball unable to overcome Bucknell

Despite a late effort to bring the game within reach, Boston University came up short against Patriot League rival Bucknell University. The Terriers were burned by their turnovers, committing 13 more than the Bison. In the third quarter, BU found themselves on the wrong side of a 10-2 run, putting them behind by 15. The Terriers didn’t give up as they brought the game within five points with just over seven minutes remaining. However, BU’s run stalled after senior forward Anete Adler, who had a team-high 12 points, suffered an injury. Now 7-14 on the season, BU will take on Holy Cross on Monday in hopes of getting back in the win column.
