Gallery: Men’s Basketball falls short to Navy despite a strong start

The Boston University men’s basketball team hosted the Navy Midshipmen in search of a victory after the heartbreaking 79-80 overtime loss at Colgate, but were bested by the Midshipmen 58-50. Coming into the game as the Patriot League standing leader, the Midshipmen struggled to find their pace in the first six minutes, allowing the Terriers to take a 14-0 lead. BU stayed ahead in most of the first twenty-five minutes of play but Navy found their way to respond both offensively and defensively. The Midshipmen took over the lead as the Terriers’ field-goal accuracy dipped in the second half, and ultimately BU was unable to solve the Navy defense.
