Gallery: Men’s Basketball Falls to Lehigh in Overtime Thriller

The Boston University men’s basketball team hosted Patriot League opponent Lehigh looking for a third straight win, but could not get the job done in overtime with a 93-91 loss. Terriers’ slow start on the offensive side allowed the Mountain Hawks to take the early lead and expand it through the first half of the game. The Terriers were able to convert opportunities more efficiently in the second half forcing the game to extend beyond regulation, highlighted by a potential buzzer-beater by junior guard Michael McNair that was eventually waved off. This marked the first conference game that went to overtime for the Terriers this season. Despite outscoring the Mountain Hawks with field goals in the 5-minute overtime period, the Terriers lost to the conference opponent by two points after Lehigh went 12-for-12 from the free-throw line.
