The No. 19 Boston University men’s hockey team (10-9-1, 7-6-0 HE) will travel to Cambridge on Monday to face the No. 20 Harvard Crimson (7-6-1, 5-4-0 ECAC) in a one-off matchup at Bright-Landry Hockey Center.
BU will look to rebound from a split against UMass, where the Terriers edged the Minutemen 1-0 on Friday before being shut out 2-0 in Saturday’s rematch. The loss snapped a three-game unbeaten run.
Harvard is still searching for its first win of 2026 after dropping three straight conference games on the road coming out of winter break.
The Terriers have historically fared well against the Crimson, winning eight of the last 11 meetings and holding an 84-70-7 edge in the all-time series.
Sophomore defenseman Cole Hutson continues to pace BU in scoring with 20 points in 19 games and shares the team lead in plus-minus at +8 alongside sophomore forward Brandon Svoboda.
Up front, sophomore forward Cole Eiserman has been BU’s most dangerous finisher, leading the team with eight goals in 16 games. Junior forward Jack Harvey sits close behind after scoring the Terriers’ lone goal of the UMass series.
Sophomore goaltender Mikhail Yegorov is expected to start for BU. In 20 starts, he owns a 2.95 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage, and he stopped 34 of 35 shots across the two games against UMass.
Harvard’s attack is led by sophomore forward Mick Thompson, who has 17 points in 14 games after a 32-point campaign last season. Seniors Casey Severo and Philip Trescak share the team lead in goals, with seven apiece through 14 games.
In goal, sophomore netminder Ben Charette has handled the bulk of the work for the Crimson, posting a 3.24 goals-against average and an .894 save percentage in 14 starts. He stopped 16 of 21 shots in Harvard’s most recent outing against Dartmouth.
Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday at Bright-Landry Hockey Center. The game will be available on NESN and ESPN+.
