Gallery: Women’s hockey concedes late goals to Northeastern, loses to city rivals

The Boston University women’s hockey team looked to continue their spot in the win column after earning their first win of the season against the University of New Hampshire, but a later power play goal and empty-netter left the final score 3-1 against the Northeastern Huskies. The Terriers struck first in the third minute of the period when senior forward Clara Yuhn batted the puck midair into the back of the net. BU held onto this 1-0 lead until the tenth minute of the second period when the Huskies equalized. The two teams were deadlocked until 28 seconds left in the game. Yuhn was sent to the box for hooking in the 18th minute of the period, and Northeastern was able to capitalize on the power play. The Terriers then pulled graduate goaltender Michelle Pasiechnyk for an extra attacker, but conceded an empty net goal.
