Gallery: Men’s lacrosse claims victory over Colgate on Senior Night
Colgate opened the scoring on Boston University men’s lacrosse Senior Night behind an unassisted goal from Rory Connor, however, BU would strike back five minutes later with a goal from Andrew Pape. The two sides battled for the majority of the first three periods with Colgate scoring in spurts of two or three, followed by a similar spree by BU, creating five ties throughout the game. Late in the third quarter, BU fired off five goals to obtain a three-goal lead, and despite a late push from Colgate with two goals in the final 1:07, BU managed to hang on for an impressive 14 – 12 victory.
