Gallery: Men’s ice hockey falls to UMass Lowell 5-3
The Boston University Terriers fell 5-3 against the UMass Lowell River Hawks on Friday, November 8 at Agganis Arena. Co-captain Shane Lachance scored 2 goals during power plays with an assist from Quinn Hutson and Cole Eiserman secured a single goal off an assist from Cole Hutson.
BU remains in the top ten ranked teams in the Hockey East division, steady at number nine. UMass Lowell, No. 17/16 in the division, pocketed two goals within a minute of each other. With just over 2 minutes left of play in the third period, the Terriers pulled goaltender Mathieu Caron to close out the game with an unsuccessful 6-on-4 player advantage.
