With the first two periods coming to an end with a score of 0-0, the third period turned out to be the best one yet. Despite falling behind early in the third period, BU tied it up 2-2 thanks to goals by two sophomore forwards Jeremy Wilmer and Ryan Greene.

With two minutes left in the game, Ryan Greene capped off the win with a powerplay goal assisted by both Hutson brothers.
