Gallery: Men’s Hockey Headed to Frozen Four

No. 5 Boston University Men’s Hockey has officially punched their ticket to the 2023 Frozen Four, taking down historic rival No. 12 Cornell in the “Red Hot Regional Final,” 2-1.

The Terriers (29-10-0) came out on top in the defensive struggle, only taking 21 shots to 14 from the Big Red (21-11-2). Goals from senior forwards Wilmer Skoog and Ethan Phillips made the difference, despite Cornell freshman forward Dalton Bancroft scoring with 28 seconds left on the clock to threaten a comeback.

The Terriers will face No. 1 Minnesota, the Fargo Regional Champion, at Amalie Arena in Tampa, FL on April 6.
