The Boston University men’s hockey team fell 2-0 to Northeastern University in their first matchup since the 2022 Beanpot on Friday night at Agganis Arena. The Terriers are currently ranked eleventh in the country and sixth in the Hockey East standings.
By the end of the night, BU outshot Northeastern with a total of 41 shots. Despite the 19-6 edge the Terriers had in the third period, they could not get past Northeastern goaltender Devon Levi. Even so, junior goaltender Drew Commesso made 24 saves, 20 of which were made in the first two periods.
