Men’s Hockey: Markus Boguslavsky enters transfer portal
By Patrick Donnelly
Boston University junior Markus Boguslavsky has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple sources.
The right-shot forward has six points (four goals, two assists) in 39 career games as a Terrier. He only skated in five games this season. As a sophomore in 2020-21, the Calgary native had three goals and an assist in 10 games.
The news comes after fifth-year senior assistant captain Ty Amonte also entered the transfer portal. At the winter break this season, freshman defenseman Braden Doyle also transferred from BU, leaving for the BCHL before committing to Northeastern for next season, while freshman forward Tyler Boucher opted to sign with the Ottawa Senators, the team that selected him 10th overall in last year’s draft
BU also lost junior assistant captain Alex Vlasic after the season when he signed an entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. WTBU previously reported that Vlasic is expected the only early departure to the pros, aside from Boucher’s exit at the break.
The Terriers will graduate fifth-year senior captain Logan Cockerill, fifth-year defenseman Joseph Campolieto, graduate assistant captain Max Kaufman and Amonte, who has one year of eligibility left, as well.
Boguslavsky departs Comm. Ave. with a 2022 Beanpot title to his name.
