Per a report by Stadium’s Jeff Goodman, Boston University men’s basketball freshman Jordan Guest is transferring. Goodman added Guest to his end of season transfer list on Monday. The 6-foot-8 forward still has three years of eligibility remaining.

Guest, a native of Santa Margarita, Calif., appeared in 21 games and made three starts. A one time Patriot League Rookie of the Week, Guest posted averages of 5.2 points and 3.5 rebounds across 14.6 minutes per game.

He did not appear in a game since Feb. 2, missing the final 10 games of the season for an undisclosed reason.

According to his Verbal Commits page, the three star recruit weighed offers from Denver, Utah State, Hawaii, San Francisco, UC Davis, American, Lehigh, Vermont and Hartford before committing to BU. We checked in with him after his initial commitment to BU.

At the time, Guest cited BU’s coaching staff and their dedication to his recruitment as a deciding factor.

“I feel like the effort the coaching staff put in helped make my decision,” he said during his senior year of high school.

His Verbal Commits page also denotes Guest as a transfer.

Additionally on Goodman’s list is Kyle Foreman. He stopped playing at BU after his sophomore season, and is listed as a graduate transfer with one year of eligibility remaining.

Foreman did confirm his potential graduate transfer with WTBU Sports.
