BOSTON- In what will be a big year for the development and maturation of a young hockey team, captains have been named for the Terriers.

Reagan Rust, Sammy Davis and Natasza Tarnowski will be the lettered leadership for Brian Durocher’s Terriers in 2018-19.

Rust is a senior defensemen from Southaven, Mississippi. She spent her first two years of college at Rochester Institute of Technology before transferring to Boston University in 2017.

The 2017-18 season was Rust’s first year with the Terriers and she played in all 37 of the team’s games matching her career highs in goals (5), assists (13), and points (18).

Last season, Rust scored her first Boston University goal in her first game with the team against Merrimack College on September 23rd.

Davis is a redshirt junior forward from Pembroke, Massachusetts. Davis sat out the entire 2017-18 season due to injury but was voted an assistant captain last year.

In her Terriers career, Davis has totaled 49 points (24 goals, 25 assists). She has been a force on both sides of the ice boasting a +4 rating in her 71 games played and has netted 8 power play goals in her two seasons with the team.

Tarnowski is a junior forward from Embrun, Ontario, CA. Tarnowski is capable of doing a lot on the ice without having the puck in her possession. In her two season with the Terriers she has totaled 8 goals and 13 assists for 21 points.

Tarnowski is one of only three Terriers from last season who scored a goal at even strength, on the power play, and short handed. She has a game winning goal in each of her two seasons with the team.
