Former Boston University guard Cheddi Mosely received his official release over the weekend and will transfer from the program, according to Rivals.com.

Mosely, a 6’5 guard from Jersey City, New Jersey, will be immediately eligible for the 2018-2019 season as a graduate transfer.

The St. Anthony’s HS product, who played under legendary coach Bob Hurley, missed all but two games this season with a knee injury. He also sat out the final 21 games of the 2016-2017 season due to an internal team matter.

As a sophomore in 2015-2016, Mosely averaged 13.3 ppg in 30 games.

According to reports, Mosely has received interest from a number of programs including Ohio State, NC State, Wake Forest, and Rutgers.

Update, Tuesday night:
Alex Gleitman of 247 reported Tuesday night that Mosely told him Wake Forest, St. Bonaventure, and Troy have recruited him the hardest. Fordham and Delaware have also reached out recently. Gleitman said Mosely will be going on visits at the end of April and early May.
