Staff Support for Attendance Verification

The Attendance Verification process confirms whether a student is currently “in attendance” at the University. This resource focuses on how administrative staff can support impacted students and faculty.

Introduction

For criteria considered when assigning students, written steps, and a visual workflow, please first review the Attendance Verification Process Overview.

Refer to the following resources to understand the attendance verification activities that impacted students and faculty will encounter:

  • Student Verification Task: if a student meets the criteria, they are assigned the Attendance Verification Agreement.
  • Faculty Verification: if a student does NOT complete their verification task by the due date, faculty of the student’s enrolled courses are prompted to respond to the student’s attendance.

After student and faculty verification stages, OUR and Department staff will work together to review and determine next steps. At that point in the process, OUR will engage the appropriate staff and more details on those activities will be shared at that time. OUR will email the final review process to the school/college Registrar office representatives.
