Louis is a second-year master’s student in global environmental policy at the Pardee School of Global Studies, where he explores the intersection between renewable energy, decarbonization and urban planning. He currently engages in advisory work for a pioneering renewable energy park in South Africa while conducting research on electric mobility transitions in Costa Rica. These projects inform his vision of developing sustainable, livable cities through integrated infrastructure and clean energy solutions. As an aspiring urban sustainability specialist, he aims to bridge the gap between renewable energy deployment and equitable urban development. Prior to BU, Louis graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in Politics and Middle East and North African Studies, where he completed two international exchange programs. His experience includes work in consulting, government relations, and international education.
