Jack Whitten

Jack is a second-year MAIA student specializing in Security Studies. He joined the Atlas in his first year as a copy editor and website manager, and took over the editor-in-chief role from outgoing EIC Alexis Moran, whom he thanks for her dedicated and passionate leadership of the journal.

Before joining Pardee, he graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a minor in East Asian Studies. He then worked for a year as a software developer. His interest in International Affairs grew out of a love of history and especially languages—he speaks English, Spanish, Japanese, and some Mandarin. He also enjoys video games, fiction writing, and music.
