Fotouh is a second-year Master’s student at the Pardee School of Global Studies, studying International Affairs with a specialization in Diplomacy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in International Relations from Boston University.

During her academic journey, Fotouh developed a keen interest in Middle Eastern and Islamic studies with a specific focus on the intricate nuances surrounding migration policies, citizenship rights, and the plight of stateless individuals, fostering a strong commitment to advocating for human rights on a global scale. She pursued in-depth research and engaged in various discussions and projects surrounding these critical areas, seeking to contribute to meaningful solutions and policy advancements.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Fotouh gained practical experience through interning for a Boston Mayoral Election Campaign and Alghanim Industries – Engineering Group as a marketing intern. Through these internships, Fotouh obtained a unique perspective on communication strategies and understanding audience dynamics, skills valuable in the realm of international affairs and diplomacy.

With a robust educational background and a breadth of interests, Fotouh is dedicated to merging the realms of political science, international relations, and diplomacy, aspiring to make a tangible impact on a global scale.
