Brooke Van Ackooy

Brooke is in her first year in the Masters of Global Policy program with a concentration in environmental policy. For her bachelor’s degree, she studied international studies at Emmanuel College. Her main research interests are climate justice, human rights, the rights of indigenous peoples, and renewable energy. During her undergraduate program, she assisted her professors in researching Turkey’s religious minorities and Greek Immigration. She’s interned at both the Massachusetts State House and Sierra Club in the past two years. Outside of school, Brooke enjoys video games, painting, working out, and overanalyzing tv shows.
