Alexis Moran

Lexi Moran is a first-year graduate student pursuing her Master’s in International Affairs and specializing in Diplomacy. She obtained her Bachelor’s in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University. Before attending Boston University, Lexi’s studies were guided by her interests in cultural anthropology and media effects. She applied those interests in her previous role as a research assistant for the Ohio State University School of Communication on studies regarding media representation and its impacts on the self. She also worked with the Ohio Policy Evaluation Network, where she kickstarted a social media presence for the reproductive rights nonprofit group and worked alongside researchers evaluating reproductive health outcomes for patients in the greater Ohio region. Her current research interests are in post-conflict reconstruction and identity development in Eastern Europe.
