Connecting the Atlas to BU and Beyond
Dear Readers,
In these unprecedented times, sharing student voices is more important than ever. Political conflicts that touch every continent, high-stakes elections, and unprecedented disasters usher us into an era that demands fresh perspectives. As students at the crux of our studies, we must share our voices and viewpoints on the world while also dedicating ourselves to a lifetime of learning.
I am honored to lead the Pardee Atlas Journal of Global Affairs into its 5th year. The Atlas’s mission to promote student voices as they address political, social, and developmental challenges remains steadfast.
Our team has made significant strides in the past year, adding a podcast and conference to the Atlas’s repertoire. These new additions are vital in bridging the Atlas with its community and providing students with a platform to share their knowledge.
This year, the Atlas’s buzzword is connectivity. I hope to encourage even more ways to weave the Atlas into its Boston academic community, including events inside our BU community and outreach to our neighboring schools. There is no shortage of voices capable of “Advancing Human Progress.” The Atlas seeks these speakers and their solutions.
I am thrilled to begin working with the Atlas’s highly motivated team of Pardee graduate students. Together, we can commit to promoting student voices and addressing global challenges.
Sincerely,
Alexis Moran
