The Boston University men’s basketball team secured an 88-76 victory over the UMass Lowell Riverhawks before heading into the holiday break and the first Patriot League matchup. The Terriers opened the scoring after sophomore forward Ben Defty won the tip-off. With a season-high field goal made percentage, the Terriers stayed ahead of the Riverhawks even though Lowell outshot them. The continuous efforts in both offensive and defensive allowed the Terriers to extend the lead throughout the game, including five Terriers scoring double-digits.
