Gallery: Men’s hockey trampled in 6-2 loss to Quinnipiac

With just one non-conference matchup scheduled for the weekend, Boston University’s men’s hockey struggled against the Quinnipiac University Bobcats, falling 6-2. Outshot 25-8 and down three goals in the first period, the Terriers did not start the game ideally. In the 11th minute of the second period, however, sophomore defenseman Cole Hutson skated quickly on a two-on-one breakaway and slipped the puck to junior forward Jack Harvey for a shorthanded goal. Sophomore forward Nick Roukounakis scored his first career goal in the 13th minute of the second period, but the Terriers conceded two more goals in the period to be down 5-2 going into the final frame. The Bobcats scored once more in the third period to take down BU 6-2.
