The Boston University Terriers (5-10, 2-3 PL) are set to play the Colgate Raiders (4-12, 0-5 PL) in Hamilton, New York, this Saturday at 11 a.m.

Saturday’s game marks the end of the regular season for the Terriers. They currently hold a 2-3 away-game record and finished the season with a 3-7 home-game record. The Raiders have a 4-6 home record and will honor their nine seniors before Saturday’s game. Stretching back to 1984, BU boasts a 14-game winning streak against Colgate.

The Terriers will be looking to break their five-game losing streak after losing to Northeastern 3-1 last Sunday. Colgate lost 2-1 to Dartmouth last weekend and lost to Holy Cross 3-4 in their most recent Patriot League matchup. Both games went to overtime for the Raiders. When BU faced Holy Cross earlier in the season, they won 3-2, with Caroline O’Brien’s game-winning goal.

Raider Coach Cornell-Deangelis believes in the team chemistry and hopes for the team to take advantage when they’re in their offensive third so they can draw more corners. Claire van Kempen is one of the standout players for the Raiders. As a goalkeeper, she has a total of 115 saves this season, with a season high of 13 saves against Syracuse University at the start of the month. Her quick reflexes were a big factor that allowed the Raiders to take their last two games to overtime.

On the Terrier side, goalkeeper Sophie Ortyl is another key player to watch. She made seven saves in their last game, her third-highest total this season. Caroline O’Brien continues to be an offensive powerhouse for BU. She led the Terriers in their last game with four shots and three shots on goal.

The Terriers will face Colgate on Nov. 1 at 11 a.m. at Tyler’s Field. Streaming will be available on ESPN+.
