Boston University Field Hockey  (5-9, 2-3 PL) will head to Dedham Field for its final non-conference matchup of the season against the Northeastern University Huskies (8-6) this Sunday at 12:00 p.m.

The Terriers are looking to bounce back after a narrow 1-0 loss to Lafayette on Senior Day. Senior forward Caroline O’Brien continues to lead the Terriers’ offense with 10 goals and six assists this season, while also contributing defensively with two key saves in Friday’s matchup. Junior midfielder Bella Bergner and freshman forward Molly Driscoll have also played pivotal roles in creating scoring chances, with Driscoll recording four goals and one assist so far.

BU Head Coach Sally Starr’s squad will aim to regain its scoring rhythm after being shut out in four consecutive games. The Terriers outshot Lafayette 7-5 in their latest contest, showcasing a strong defensive presence and improved possession play that they’ll look to carry into Sunday’s game.

The Huskies enter the game riding a three-game win streak over the past two weeks. Sophomore Camille Armaganian is on the rise with a total of five goals, two of which were scored against Quinnipiac last Sunday, and Junior Alex Mega, who leads the team with 11 points on three goals and five assists. In goal, Indiana graduate transfer Arabella Loveridge has started 12 games, posting a .725 save percentage and a 1.88 goals-against average.

The Huskies claimed a 4-2 victory in the last meeting between the two teams, but BU holds a 27-29 all-time record in the series and has won seven of the past nine matchups. Sunday’s game will also mark the third coaching meeting between Starr and Northeastern Head Coach Pam Spuehler, a former Terrier standout. Starr currently holds a 1-1 record against her former player.

The Terriers will take on the Huskies Sunday afternoon at Dedham Field. Streaming will be available on FloSports beginning at 12 p.m.
