Gallery: Men’s hockey power six goals past Colgate

Boston University men’s ice hockey team dominated Colgate 6-2 at Agganis Arena on Oct. 10, with three players scoring their first collegiate goals. After sophomore defenseman Cole Hutson broke deadlock in the final minute of the first period with a spectacular solo effort, the Terriers exploded for three goals in the second period, including first career tallies from junior defenseman Mick Frechette and freshman forward Ryder Ritchie, along with a power-play strike from sophomore forwardCole Eiserman. Eiserman added his second goal of the night early in the third period on another power-play opportunity, extending his goal-scoring streak to four games. Although Colgate managed two goals, freshman forward Jonathan Morello capped the scoring with an empty-net, shorthanded goal for his first collegiate tally, while sophomore goaltender Mikhail Yegorov was solid in net with 24 saves on 26 shots.
