Gallery: Women’s soccer shuts out New Hampshire in home opener

Boston University’s women’s soccer team earned a 3-0 home-opening victory to officially start the 2025 season, shutting out the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. All three goals were scored in the first half. In the 31st minute, freshman midfielder Georgia Prouty, making her collegiate debut, struck first, before sophomore forward Juliana Osterman added a second goal four minutes later. A minute before halftime, a back pass from the Wildcats’ defense intended for their goalkeeper slipped in, resulting in an own goal. Starting in her collegiate debut, senior goalkeeper Susan Shobeiri recorded her first shutout, making one save in the 88th minute.
