Gallery: Women’s soccer season opener against Northeastern canceled after 24 minutes
The Boston University women’s soccer team’s 2025 season opener against the Northeastern Huskies was canceled 24 minutes into the first half because of torrential downpour and persistent lightning in the surrounding areas. Within the short amount of game play, the Terriers recorded two shots, compared to the Huskies’ one. BU also earned one corner kick. Neither team scored in the 24 minutes.
