Gallery: Women’s ice hockey tops BC, advances to Hockey East title game
The Boston University women’s hockey team secured its spot in the Hockey East Championship game on Wednesday. Boston College opened the scoring in the first period. Clara Yuhn scored early in the second period to tie the game but the Eagles managed to restore their lead late in the period. Riley Walsh scored the only goal in the third to tie the game and send it to overtime. Lindsay Bochna scored for the Terriers 7:12 into the second overtime to secure the Terriers spot in the title game on Saturday.
