The Boston University’s women’s hockey team fell to the University of Connecticut with a 3-1 loss on Friday night. UConn opened the scoring and maintained a 2-0 lead until sophomore forward Neely Nicholson scored in the second period with senior forwards Ani Fitzgerald and Liv Haag putting up assists. UConn solidified their lead with a shorthanded goal in the third period, making the final score 3-1.
