Gallery: Women’s ice hockey tops Boston College
The Boston University women’s hockey team beat Boston College in a strong 3-2 win on Friday night. Boston College opened the scoring early in the first period, but BU came back with a 2-1 lead with junior forward Lilli Welcke (26) and freshman forward Kaileigh Quigg (28) scoring goals. After BC scored again in the third period, junior forward Riley Walsh picked up a loose puck to score BU’s third and final goal of the game to lead to BU’s 3-2 win.
