Boston University men’s ice hockey, ranked No. 8/9, lost 6-2 to top-ranked Boston College in the opener of their weekend series at Agganis Arena. The Terriers started strong, leading 2-1 after the first period with power-play goals by Quinn Hutson and Cole Eiserman. However, BC responded with three goals in the second period and sealed the game with two late game empty-netters. Despite the loss, BU held BC to just 21 shots on goal, with Cole Hutson extending his point streak to six games and Eiserman scoring his team-leading 14th goal. The Terriers now hold a 13-8-1 record this season.
