Boston University Men’s Basketball (8-8, 2-1 PL) will travel to Hamilton, N.Y. to face the Colgate University Raiders (5-11, 2-1 PL) on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 2:00 p.m. Both Colgate and BU are coming off wins defending their home court.
The Terriers aim to extend their two-game winning streak following a 71-63 win against Army on Sunday and a 60-54 win against American University on Wednesday.
Sophomore guard Michael McNair led the Terriers in both games, finishing with 17 (v. Army) and 20 points (v. American U). McNair has been recently breaking through on the offensive end of the floor, and looks to continue his momentum through Saturday’s game.
On the Raiders side, Jeff Woodard has been on a tear offensively. He has been the leading scorer in 2 out of 3 games for Colgate, recording 17 points (v. Army) and 20 points (v. Lehigh).
6’11” Woodward also leads the team in rebound with 7.1 per game. Woodward along with guard Nicolas Louis-Jacques lead the team in PPG with 11.5 — the senior pair will be the names to look out for on Saturday.
Both BU and Colgate are 2-1 in the Patriot league, which makes this upcoming matchup important for in-conference rankings. The matchup will take place at Cotterell Court and it will be streamed live on ESPN+. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET.
