Boston University Men’s Basketball (1-3, 0-0 PL) will take on the Wagner Seahawks (1-3, 0-0 NE) Tuesday, Nov. 19 at the Case Gym.

BU and Wagner have met seven times in history. They matched up last season, with the Terriers winning 73-59 on the road. Before that game, the squads had not met on the court since 1982.

Wagner has gotten off to a slow start this season as they have lost three of their first four. They have also gone winless in their three road games.

BU is coming off their first victory of the season after defeating Dartmouth over the weekend. The Terriers were led by sophomore guard Kyrone Alexander who put up an impressive 21 points to go along with nine rebounds and a steal.

A key differentiator for the Terriers was their defense as they only allowed 50 points. In their previous three matches, BU allowed opponents to score at least 70 points each time.

The Terriers should be able to build on their solid defensive performance when the Seahawks come to town. Overall, Wagner has struggled to score this season as they have averaged under 55 points per game and don’t have a single player averaging double figures in scoring.

BU will look for a good game from graduate student guard Miles Brewster, who has shot just 21% from three point range and 35% from the field. If the Terriers want to start a win streak, they will need to see more from their veteran leader.

BU has an excellent chance to keep building momentum for the rest of their non-conference schedule.

Tipoff will be at 7 p.m. in the Case Gym and streaming will be available on ESPN+.
