Boston University Men’s Basketball (0-3, 0-0 PL) return home to Commonwealth Avenue on Saturday, Nov. 16 with a game against the Dartmouth Big Green (2-1, 0-0 IL) where they’ll look to turn the tide on this season after a disappointing trip to Southern California of back-to-back losses.

The matchup remains one rooted in history, but has only recently become a staple, with home and away series being played since 2018. The positives for the Terriers lie in their 3-2 record in the brief series, winning both games at home and stealing a win in Hanover in 2021.

The 2023 road trip was unsuccessful as the Terriers couldn’t make it four straight wins, losing 63-54.

Unfortunately for the Terriers, after dropping the home opener to Northeastern their road trip would only add to the loss column. The trip started off promising with a strong first half against the University of San Diego Toreros, but the Toreros pulled away to take the first game of the trip.

The latter game just up I-5 against the UCLA Bruins was not as competitive and the Terriers lost both.

The Terriers will look towards scoring leaders sophomore Kyrone Alexander with an average of 28.7 points per game, and graduate student Miles Brewster with 27.7 points per game to take on the burden of the Big Green.

Starting the season with a massive win against over-matched Vermont State, they would follow it up with a close win at home to Sacred Heart. The winning ways ended against the University of Albany, meaning Big Green will go on the road for the first time above .500.

BU’s biggest challenge defensively takes shape in senior Cade Haskins, Dartmouth’s leader in scoring thus far.

The game is set for Saturday afternoon at Case Gymnasium with tipoff set for 1 p.m. and streaming available on ESPN+.
