The Boston University Terriers (6-8, 3-2 PL) are heading to Pennsylvania to take on the Lafayette College Leopards (9-6, 3-1 PL) on Friday night, Oct. 25, at Rappolt Field.

The upcoming game marks the first meeting between the two teams since November of last year when the Leopards secured a 3-2 victory.

Historically, the Terriers have a slight edge over Lafayette with a 7-6 all-time head-to-head record dating back to Nov. 2 of 2013.

Initially, BU started out winning the first three games.

However, the tides turned, and the Leopards emerged victorious in the last four encounters, outscoring the Terriers 8-3 during those games.

Lafayette secured a thrilling 2-1 overtime victory against No. 20 Temple University this past Sunday, Oct. 20, in Pennsylvania. Lineke Spaans sealed the win with a goal in the 65th minute in overtime, marking her seventh goal of the season thus far.

Close behind her are Alex Darrah, who has six goals, and Stella Malinowski, who tallied five goals for the Leopards. Each of them has played 15 games so far this season.

Lafayette has showcased solid defensive performances this season, securing victories in six out of their first eight home games.

On the other hand, BU has struggled away from home, suffering losses in five out of seven games played outside of New Balance Field this season. Despite this, the Terriers are determined to reverse their fortunes on the road.

BU is looking to regroup after a tough 3-0 loss to the University of New Hampshire Wildcats this past weekend.

Leading the charge for the Terriers is captain Peyton Anderson, who has already netted ten goals in just 14 games this season.

BU will look to rely on their offensive talent to defeat the Leopards in the conference matchup.

The game will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 25. Streaming will be available on ESPN+.
