The Boston University men’s ice hockey team defeated Union 4-1, led by senior goaltender Mathieu Caron’s 36 saves and contributions from four different scorers. BU built lead with an even-strength goal from Shane Lachance and power-play goals from freshmen Alex Zetterberg and Cole Eiserman. Union’s Parker Lindauer scored in the second period, but Jack Harvey restored BU’s three-goal cushion. Harvey also assisted on Zetterberg’s game-winner. BU, now 2-0-0, saw ten different players register points as they extended their home stand.
