Gallery: Field hockey beats Holy Cross 3-2
The beginning of the game between Boston University and Holy Cross was dominated by strong defense, as both teams struggled to get good opportunities to score. In the second quarter, Holy Cross broke the ice and took a 1-0 lead over BU. It wasn’t until the fourth quarter that we saw another goal. BU scored three goals in the fourth quarter to pull out the comeback win despite a late goal by Holy Cross. The final score was 3-2 giving Head Coach Sally Starr her 500th career victory.
