Gallery: Men’s Hockey dominates Western Michigan in NCAA Regional Finals
No. 5 Boston University Men’s Hockey took down No. 9 Western Michigan yesterday, 5-1, in the NCAA Regional Semifinals at SNHU Arena in Manchester, N.H.
In a complete team effort, the Terriers (27-10-0) sent the Broncos (23-15-1) packing with five different goal scorers as well as a 24-save effort from junior goaltender Drew Commesso. Senior forward Ethan Phillips led the way with a goal and two assists for BU.
The win sets up a date with historic rival #12 Cornell in the NCAA Regional Final on Saturday.
