The Boston University women’s basketball team took a short trip to Newton, Mass. to play against the Boston College Eagles in a high scoring matchup. The Eagles came away with the 90-80 win.
Senior Maggie Pena led the Terriers with 18 points. This is the third time this season that she has led the team in scoring and she is the only member of the squad to have hit this benchmark.
While the score remained close throughout the game, with the Eagles leading just 36-35 at halftime, BC pulled away from BU in the second half to improve their all-time record against the Terriers to 16-12.
