The Boston University women’s hockey team battled hard to an overtime loss against the University of New Hampshire Wildcats yesterday, falling 3-2 in the extra period.
Junior defenseman Andi Calderone lit the lamp in the second period for her first collegiate goal, and senior forward Julia Nearis notched the other goal for the Terriers. UNH sophomore forward Kira Juodikis scored just nine seconds into the game, and netted the game-winner in overtime for the Wildcats. She also notched an assist on UNH’s second goal, scored by graduate forward Emily Pinto.
