The Boston University women’s lacrosse team struggled in their season opener, falling 16-10 to Vermont.

Junior attack Lauren Kaye and sophomore attack Cassie Reinertson each scored 4 points, while freshman attack Matty Spaeth and junior transfer Teagan Lucchese each scored their first goals as Terriers.
