Photo Gallery: Women’s Hockey falls short in Beanpot consolation

The Boston University Terriers were shut out 3-0 by the No. 5 Northeastern University Huskies in the consolation game of the 43rd Women’s Beanpot at Matthews Arena on Tuesday.

Senior goaltender Nicole McGuigan made her first career start for the Terriers ((10-12-5, 9-7-4 HE), making 34 saves.

Fifth-year forward Maureen Murphy scored a hat trick for Northeastern (23-4-1, 17-3-1 HE), this year’s hosts and formerly the defending champions. Junior goaltender Gwyneth Phillips made 14 saves.
